Unhiding the XLL+ Menu Items

If you have installed XLL+, but cannot find the XLL+ Function Wizard under the Tools menu in Developer Studio, it may be that you have hidden it.

If you have followed the instructions in Installing the Function Wizard under Visual Studio .NET or .NET Visual Studio 2005, and the menu items have not appeared, Follow these steps to make them reappear:

1. Close down all running instances of Visual Studio.
2. Locate the file ReCreateCommands.reg in the folder listed below, under your XllPlus installation directory, and double-click it to apply its contents to the registry.

   Visual Studio .NET (2002)	Bin/XlpFnWiz42N
   Visual Studio .NET 2003	Bin/XlpFnWiz42N1
   Visual Studio 2005	Bin/XlpFnWiz42N8

3. Restart Visual Studio.
4. The menu items will appear under the Tools menu the next time the add-in is started.
