Development environment

LinearB works within the following Microsoft development tools:

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

LinearB will not work with Visual C++ Express Editions.

Platform

LinearB runs on the following Microsoft platforms:

• Microsoft Windows Vista
• Microsoft Windows XP

Runtime

Addins produced by LinearB run under any of the following runtime environments:

• Microsoft Excel 2007
• Microsoft Excel 2003
• Microsoft Excel XP
• Microsoft Excel 2000
• Microsoft Excel 97
• Microsoft Excel 95
• Planatech XLL Host

Licensing

Development licenses will be issued on a per-machine basis, or on a per-network floating license (concurrent user) basis.

Run-time licenses are free. Add-ins produced with LinearB can be run on any number of machines without restriction.

Owners of licenses for the following products will be eligible for purchase discounts:

• XLL+ 4.2/4.3/5.0 for Visual Studio 6
• XLL+ 4.2/4.3/5.0 for Visual Studio .NET
• XLL+ 5.0 for Visual Studio 2005

LinearB will be available in a trial version, which runs for 30 days without restrictions. Extension licenses for longer trial periods will be available.
